Frenetic

"Fren", Tess Bergamotta | late 20's | they/them(en) ela(pt)

Not much of a social butterfly, Fren is a very specific and often difficult kind of person. They're sweet and easy to get along with, but tires very easily in social situations, ending up being some sort of a loner by choice. They, however, are very talented, and this makes a lot of people - specially their bandmate Casino - to nag them over all around.

Guitarist of their band (and only doing a few vocals on record, never live), they seem to put on a nonchalant persona while on stage, when people on audience are too dark and blurry to focus on faces. Together with the band, they do little local shows around Happy Harbour, earning very little. Fren likes this kind of no-fame, but the band seems to be getting more attention lately, and this is of course stressing them up.

They are very curious, and keep hours researching about any topic that comes to mind, trying to understand how the world works. This curiosity, however, often mixes with fear and can lead Frenetic to some dark times. Fren seems to daydream a lot, often getting caught gazing off the distance. They abandoned the biomed studies due to anxiety. Panic attacks and dream paralysis are not uncommon events in their life.

In the story, they are the involuntary catalyst to the most important series of events. They're responsible, unknowingly, by the reactivation of Radar while exploring the ruins of GLITTER. Later, they get connected in a bizarre way with Painkiller, who ends up inhabiting their guitar. And then ends up finding out about Luhan, whom they team up with. All thanks to their intense curiosity.

Appearence: Androgynous both in face and body, frequently with a tired or anxious expression. It seems they're always thinking about something they cant solve, constant worry. They are light haired (light pink), shoulder lenght and a little spiky; light skinned with lots of freckles, developing melasma easily; Their eyes are light also (often i draw them with pink irises and yellow pupils), naturally decorated by very long lashes; They are tall and thin. They often wear grunge casual clothing, and a thin leather string on a knot on their neck.

Personality: Fren is moved by worry and curiosity. Has a tendency to anxiety, rumination and obsession, specially over things they dont understand. They are not moved by power or protagonism, but ends up pulled into major events by insisting in finding answers. There's an emotional vulnerability in them that makes them very permeable to the supernatural.
